Path 2 A2RL Student League

Path 2 A2RL Student League

10 - 13 November 2026

Challenges and Competitions: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Family Festival: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Organized by Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), Path 2 A2RL Students League challenges young people to develop practical skills in engineering, physical AI, robotics and autonomous systems.

Open to school students aged 11 and above, through to university level, from the UAE and internationally, the competition challenges teams to design, build, code and test working systems across four tracks: Air, Land, Sea and Space.

Depending on their age and technical capabilities, participants will tackle challenges ranging from programming autonomous drones and assembling electric vehicles to navigating underwater remotely operated vehicles and developing autonomous Mars rovers.

Through hands-on engineering challenges, technical training and simulation environments, students will progress from engineering fundamentals to advanced capabilities in programming, sensor integration and autonomous navigation. Along the way, they will strengthen the problem-solving and systems-thinking skills needed for careers in advanced research and technology.

Path 2 A2RL Students League reflects ATRC’s commitment to developing future engineering and research talent, connecting early technical education with practical hands-on experience.
