A spectacular weekend awaits people of all ages at the inaugural International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition - Al Ain 2025

Abu Dhabi, November 27, 2025: The debut edition of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition - Al Ain 2025 is set for unmissable weekend of cultural celebration and family entertainment. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, the first ever edition of AAIHEX is taking place at the ADNEC Centre, Al Ain, until November 30. The event is a distinctive blend of heritage with sustainability, tradition with innovation, all in line with the UAE’s broader commitment to modernity while safeguarding traditions.

 

Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon Company, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, AAIHEX 2025 offers an exciting schedule of entertainment, events, workshops and more programmed for families and outdoor enthusiasts over the course of the entire five days. The event is a unique celebration of Emirati heritage and tradition, serving as a platform dedicated to hunting, equestrianism, outdoor sports and desert activities.

 

Leading exhibitors from the UAE and the wider region are on display throughout the five-day exhibition, reflecting the depth and strength of Emirati culture and society. Covering an area of 24,000 square metres, AAIHEX also showcases Al Ain’s unique status as a green oasis with a distinguished place in Emirati heritage and a rich history spanning generations.

 

The Live Arena is a centrepiece of AAIHEX 2025, featuring a packed programme of thrilling events and live displays. The Art of the Liberty Work with Ali Al Ameri is a captivating combination of dressage and liberty show, featuring breathtaking equestrian displays trick riding that showcase the skills of the riders and their horses. Falconry Hunting Simulations and Arabian Saluki Lure Coursing Demonstrations will demonstrate the animals hunting techniques, while short pop-up displays featuring trainers with birds and reptiles will allow the audience to get a close look ant take photos.

 

The Abu Dhabi Police Shows are dynamic showcases featuring the Police Musical Marching Band, drone units, Police Cavalry, Tshouleeb and K9 units highlighting the teamwork, skills and techniques used in law enforcement.

The exhibition also features several activities, live events and thrilling heritage competitions. One of the standout features is the traditional cooking contest, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority (AHA). Through this competition, the AHA aims to revive Emirati cuisine by showcasing authentic flavours and culinary techniques passed down through generations. Participants will demonstrate their skills in preparing Emirati dishes, with a specalised judging panel evaluating the entries based on taste, cleanliness, creativity and presentation. This will run along with live cooking shows, offering visitors an interactive look at how traditional Emirati dishes are prepared.

The Al Hadeera Feature will celebrate Arabic coffee as an enduring symbol of Emirati hospitality, with workshops on roasting and preparing the drink using traditional tools. The feature will also see sessions taking place on Emirati etiquette, hospitality and customs that define traditional guest welcoming. Meanwhile in the Yalsa Tent, guests will be welcomed with genuine Emirati hospitality, surrounded by a traditional atmosphere steeped in authenticity.

AHA is also hosting a Yola competition, reviving one of the UAE’s most prominent performing arts. Participants demonstrate precision, rhythm, and mastery of the traditional Yola, showcasing movements that reflect the values of courage, chivalry and national pride. Open to contestants aged 14 to 17, who perform in national Emirati dress, the competition offers visitors an authentic glimpse into this cherished tradition.

 

A mini petting zoo will entertain the children, where they can feed the animals to create an immersive, educational and enjoyable experience. The Al-Tabba Emirati Sport Activation is an interactive VR experience that guides visitors through the rules, techniques and cultural siginficace of the traditional Emirati sport Al Tabba.

 

A Shooting Simulation will allow participants to test their marksmanship in a safe, interactive target range, while Ali Ameri will display his skills with horses at the Trailor Loading Clinic Workshop. Visitors can also discover the latest technologies and procedures in modern crime scene management through an engaging showcase of cutting-edge tools and methods at the Crime Scene Management feature.

 

ADNEC Group has also introduced a free of charge park and ride transport system to and from the venue, allowing for greater accessibility and ease for visitors. Buses will carry visitors from two designated pick-up zones – One on Hamdan bin Mohamed Street near the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, and one on Al Nahdah Street near Al Ain Courts. The service will run from 11am-11pm each day of the event.
